What Are The Common Skin Conditions That Cause Itching?

  • Hives- Are itchy, raised, discolored welts on the skin that are typically the result of an allergic reaction.
  • Ringworm- Commonly known as tinea or dermatophytosis, is a fungal skin ailment.
  • Shingles- The same virus that causes chickenpox causes this condition.
  • Allergies- An allergic reaction to something you ate or touched can cause your skin to feel itchy.
