Ginkgo Biloba
Main Ingredient
Gingko
How It Works
The maidenhair tree, often known as the ginkgo tree, initially appeared on Earth 190 million years ago and has subsequently adapted to environmental change better than any other tree of the time.
Terpenoids and flavonoids are phytochemicals in gingko formulations that are thought to be pharmacologically active. Ginkgolides A, B, and C, as well as bilobalide, are the main terpenoids, whereas quercetin, kaempferol, and isorhamnetin are the main flavonoids.
Different experts advocate G. biloba as a treatment for dementia, peripheral artery disease, ischemic stroke, tinnitus, macular degeneration, autism, insufficient blood flow, depression, and vertigo, as well as to mitigate the negative effects of some cancer medications.
